LIV Golf, the competing league to the PGA (long, dramatic story if you didn't know) is currently underway in Westfield at Chatham Hills. Today, LIV announced they're returning for 2026:
The professional golf league announced Saturday that the LIV Golf Indianapolis 2026 tournament will be held at The Club at Chatham Hills from Aug. 21-23.
The event will once again serve as the league's Individual Championship, a role it also held during its 2025 debut at the same location.
This is pretty sweet. Over the years, as far back as I can remember, every major sporting event hosted by Indianapolis garnered nothing but positive reviews. Our cleanliness is always front and center, along with accessibility, abundance of hotels and restaurants, and overall friendliness.
My interest in these sporting events relate to economics. I haven't found data yet, but I'm curious about the economic impact LIV brings to Indy.
Side note about Chatham Hills, it's a Pete Dye course, who by the way, is from Indianapolis.
