Among today's national jobless claims numbers falling overall today to 218,000, Indiana continues to remain lower than the national average:
(Indianapolis, IN) – Indiana’s unemployment rate was steady in August.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the state’s jobless rate remained at 3.6 percent.
By comparison, the national unemployment reported for last month was 4.3 percent.
